Gameday Recipe Football Bean Dip Cups
It is almost game day and it is time for SNACKS! I love appetizers and game day snacks. They are so filing and fun to make. Here is a great gameday recipe: Football Bean Dip Cups. They are so delicious. I love how the textures mix in the cups and the cheese blends with the salsa and sour cream. Plus they are easy cleanup after a party or event. And it is a super fun food craft to make with kids!
Ingredients:
1 jar salsa
1 16oz can refried beans
2 cups grated cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
12 green cupcake wrappers
12 (1/4-1/3 cup) disposable plastic cups, I found mine at a restaurant supply store but I bet Walmart has some or you can get a 100 pack on Amazon
Tortilla chips
Directions:
In the bottom of your cups spoon in 1′-2 tablespoons salsa, cover with shredded cheese.
Use a spoon to scoop out some beans about a tablespoon size.
Put beans on top of the cheese, use your fingers to kind of “pinch” the sides of the beans to turn it into a football shape.
Put sour cream into a ziplock bag, cut off the tip of one corner. Use the sour cream in the bag to outline the beans to look like a football.
Place cups inside green cupcake wrappers to finish off the “Gameday Party” look.

How cute and creative! And yes… of course, yummy. They sound delicious and just the right serving amount.
These are so cute. I’ll have to keep them in mind for next season.
You are so clever. I never would have thought to make footballs like you did! I will next time 🙂 Thanks!
